Her Support...

Although Ofra took a different path from the one she used to take with Bezalel, in 1999, to concentrate on the making of a new album abroad (album which we never be released as she left us way before it was ready), Bezalel was still everything for Ofra and she was well aware of that. This cut in their relationship was not that innoncent as we strongly presume she was influenced by her husband, who, in the end, turned out to be a very bad counsellor, among others things. Nonetheless, Ofra was leaving also to try herself at new genres, to give some brand new fresh air to her career, internationally speaking, but we are confident she would never have forgotten Bezalel, she would never have abadonned their partnership, for the same reason we are confident she would have returned to him, wether to come along with great new ideas, or to work on new ones shall her new path would have been a dead end. Unfortunately, Ofra won't have this chance despite her numerous projects for her career and her social life, none of this will ever happen. How such one man, so bad and mean, has achieved in taking away from us such a huge star, is beyond me. How could he have managed to withdraw from us the most loved and recognize person of Israel, there's no word to describe the pain nor is there to describe the suffer we endure, as the Lady with the Voice of an Angel is now gone.

And let's remember, on the other hand, that if Ofra was the number one in Israel and so popular worldwide, it's definitely with the help of Bezalel and his great managing skills and of course, his unconditional support for Ofra. Bezalel is known for being strict in business, but it's for the best, and it did work for the best, no comment on that. Both were the perfect duet. Ofra with the one of a kind voice, the beauty, the talent and the kindness, Bezalel with the roughness needed to make it through the music industry and the skill to be at the right time and at the right place so that Ofra's carreer would make jumps into success regularly.

For nearly three decades (28 years), they were that fantastic team, 28 years spent of work, joy, travels, eventually troubles, a few downs and way so much more. Such positive success have given the Haza family a lot of happiness and our thoughts go especially straight to their parents. Talking about success, Ofra collects 16 Golden and Platine discs in the early 80's as she reaches second in Eurovision (there is a story behind why she wasn't first, but since I lack some details, I ain't talking about it at this stage). As she was in competition with Yardena Arazi (musically speaking, and according to both their fans), Bezalel has known to push Ofra further, to pass beyond that fan-rivality, hence, one won Israel, the other the World. So much for the fans, in the end, the world is the lucky winner of this "fan fight". They get to know a new wonderful artist.

Thus, Bezalel, Bezalel Aloni, him whom once was only running the Shechunat Hatikva Workshop Theatre, is now the manager of the greater singer of Israel, ever. What a reward for such a man who gave himself wholy to achieve such goals. It must not have been that easy to handle carreer and family, work and feeling, but they did it, both, and they didn't made mistake, didn't abandon the ones they loved. Ofra was actually by her parents when they were sick, in the 90's, still she was in full success blossom internationally.

Ofra and Bezalel, it's a story many would like to learn about, the mariage of strenght and softness, the perfect match to reach heights never touched before, and still unreached since.

Ofra was blessed by G-d with an unconditional love from her parents, an unconditional support from Bezalel. An angel who has brought a new shine to Israel and its people. Thank you Ofra...
