Her Vidéos

Videos are quite limited. Ofra was busy enough and knowing how long it takes to make a movie, this could very well explain why her movies are so limited. However, do know many producers wished to have her in their movies. However, it's such a mystery as to explain why her music videos are so poorly available. When we know that Ofra was one of the first to have a wide range of marketing products back in the early 80's, from flags to postcard, writing papers, tee's and much more. So why oh why are there only two little videos, what's more, in mono sound? It's hard to believe. Let's hope in the near future this will be settled so that we can get descent material of Ofra, she deserves it and many of her video clips are just awesome. However, we must not be impatient, we all know how much courage it takes and how time consuming it is to obtain all the authorizations needed from different owners of such and such material. In the meanwhile, here is what was done earlier:

The first compilation (still in mono sound) open to the international. Not quite really as all is written in Hebrew, but Ofra shows her ability to sing in other languages such as English and French. She does pretty well in French actually, let's not forget at the time of Im Nin'alu, Ofra was giving interviews in French to the France Inter radio station, no one was here to translate, she could fluently speak French as well as understanding it perfectly. And knowing she learnt it by the book, litrraly while in the bus during the time she was in the Shechunat Hatikva Theatre. Anyway, back to this tape, which still doesn't exist in DVd either, it's fabulous to know out of the 10 videos, 3 are in French!!! This warms our heart pretty much. We surely look forward to have this material available in DVD quality in the near future. And one last thing regarding Galbi, it ain't the Sahday version but the remix of the previous version.
